in another universe, perhaps steve would've went back to peggy. but this isn't that universe. hello, sofia ródenas, my tired little angel. born in spain before emigrating to new york. after trying numerous times to enlist, she was chosen for a secret trial &. became Captain America-- our own Lady Liberty. her best friend, bucky, died in action after falling from a train. a kiss from peggy carter.

&. then, as quickly as Captain America became, she ceased.

she took on thanos &. won, but she was never the same. after, when everything returned &. she could breathe again, sofia moved back to spain &. made a career out of artistry.

sofia is entirely my own creation, based primarily in an alternate setting of the marvel cinematic universe. though currently living in spain, she frequents back to new york to visit the remaining avengers. sofia suffers from PTSD, severe depression due to her trauma, &. survivor's guilt due to tony stark's death. she projects her issues on to her art, &. makes a living selling her paintings.
